cam swap?

hey all!

well, I have been researching the budget and I don't think that I can afford the ford racing supercharger in the foreseeable future. Anyhoo, I have been looking at a cam swap instead.
I was looking at the mutha thumpr cam from comp or the ford racing cam. since I would already in there I wanted to switch valve springs to beehives also. It says it needs a tune with it so do i need to buy another ECU? if i decide to boost the car later would this cause any headaches? I have been looking over the install and it looks fairly straight forward for the cam. has anyone done this swap before or is it not worth the trouble.

YOU NEED SUSPENSION first...but. if your really going to spend the money look at the ford racing top end kit for the 4.6, cams, heads, intake and TB

suspension is highly recommended and makes the car fun to drive.

suspension is already in the works. just checking on how bad the cam install would be if i did it.

You need to buy a tuner for the tune. Not an ECU. Get a SCT tuner.

I have alot of mechanical experiences and I will not attempt this. the heart of your car can get f****d up.

The cam swap isn't as hard as you think for the 05-09. You can do both in an afternoon

Oh I missed the changing springs part yea little more complicated...haha
