Alright fellas, thought I'd share my little DD build progress.

I bought this White 91 LX hatch back in February. 143k on the clock, fresh valve train and trans. It came with hideous porno red interior.

So far, it has a full interior swap to grey/black, cold air intake,
Edelbrock performer manifold
1 5/8" shorty headers into a full 3" exhaust w/ off road h pipe and dumped flowmaster 40s.
UPR AC delete pulley
Trick flow underdrive pulleys,
130 amp alternator
3.55 gears,
b&m hammer shifter,
70mm throttle body and EGR spacer
msd blaster coil w/ cap and rotor and new plugs and wires.
Auto meter monster tach, full set of phantom gauges and external mechanical fuel pressure gauge
New stereo, speakers and 10" kicker sub
New cowl, window moldings, all weatherstripping

Lol it's a DD. it will be well into the 8's in the 1/8th soon. I'll have it at the track on the 25th to see how it does now. I already have a monster. Well, I'm building it anyway haha

Did a few more things to the LX recently. Installed a 10" kicker sub w/ amp, some black front bumper inserts and trashed the headlights for some nice OE style.

Pulled a pair of nice 3 bar GT-40 heads out of an explorer in the pick a part today. Gonna get em cleaned up, new valves and seals and take a dremel to em a little. Hope to get them installed around Christmas time. Should really wake this car up

Going to take my dremel to them, get em hot tanked and replace all the valve seals. Hope to throw them on around Christmas time

Got all the exhaust ports done one one head. Nothing major but quite a noticeable difference. The intake ports are pretty well cast as is, and should be sufficient for the stock cam or any mild cam I may put in it later.
