Removal of Members

sdsubzero4

Spring Valley, CA
There seems to be a confusion on how a member can be removed from the club for actions that is detrimental to the club. I hope this will clear up any miscommunication on the procedure.

ONLY THE BOARD HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO REMOVE ANY MEMBER FROM THE MEMBERSHIP. REGULAR MEMBERS ARE NOT AND DO NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY FOR REMOVAL OF ANY MEMBER. REGULAR MEMBERS MAY BRING TO THE ATTENTION OF THE BOARD FOR ACTIONS THEY DEEM TO BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE CLUB AND ITS REPUTATION. THE BOARD WILL THEN INVESTIGATE THE CLAIM, THIS INCLUDING INTERVIEWING THE ACCUSED MEMBER. A DETERMINATION WILL BE MADE BY THE BOARD IN REGARD IF THE ALLEGATION IS FOUNDED OR UNFOUNDED. IF IT IS FOUND TRUE, THE ACCUSED MEMBER MAY BE REMOVE FROM THE CLUB OR PUT ON A PROBATIONERY PERIOD. IF THE ACTION IS SUCH WHERE IT MAY CAUSE GRAVE DAMAGE TO THE CLUB REPUTATION, A TEMPORARY SUSPENSION TO THE ACCUSED MEMBER MAY BE MADE BY A BOARD MEMBER UNTIL A FULL INQUIRY CAN BE CONCLUDED.

I hope this will clear up the procedure for member removal. Thank you for your attention and cooperation in this matter.
