drag racing data logging

hey I bought an SCT livewire tuner. i wanted to do some data logging. there are tons of things that i can log and i have no idea which values to log when i go on the track. also i would like to know the safe numerical ranges what i'm logging.

Here is a start, hope it helps. American muscle sent this to me when I asked the same question. I might add, have some one in the car with you either driving or playing with the computer.It's a little safer IMO


Select the following PID’s to datalog (they are case sensitive)

 COOLANT TEMP
FUEL
 Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 1
 Long Term Fuel Trim Bank 2
 Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 1
 Short Term Fuel Trim Bank 2
MAF
 LOAD
 MAF AD COUNTS
MISCELLANEOUS
 BATTERY VOLTAGE
 RPM
 THROTTLE POSITION ABSOLUTE
 VEHICLE SPEED
SPARK
 SPARK
 SPARK SOURCE
Click the green button in the top left of the screen to begin log.

DRIVING INSTRUCTION:
1. Start vehicle and allow to idle for 2-3 minutes
2. Drive vehicle normally for about 5 minutes
3. Do 2-3 WOT pulls (at your own discretion)
4. Click RED square button at top left to stop datalog.
5. Save datalog to computer
