Mach 460 Auxilary Hookup

Purchased a Ipod hookup for the Factory Mach 460 sound system... Thought I'd share the intall for any future installations.

HERE'S THE INSTRUTIONS.

THIS IS THE FACTORY WIRE HARNESS THAT PLUGS INTO THE DECK.

AUXILARY CONVERTER.

IPOD INTERFACE.

PARTS YOU'LL NEED.

AUXILARY POWER WIRE.

INTERFACE POWER WIRE.

AUXILARY GROUND WIRE MOUNTS TO PLUG ON THE BACK OF THE DECK.

MOUNT INTERFACE GROUND TO DASH FRAME.

PLUG FACTORY WIRES TO AUXILARY HARNESS.

AUXILARY HARNESS TO FACTORY DECK.

TUCK ALL CONVERTER BOXES, WIRES BEHIND AND UNDER DECK. RE-MOUNT DECK.

PLUG IN IPOD & DOUBLE TAP CD BUTTON.

YOU'LL GET DJ ON SCREEN... AND PLAY.

That's the same auxiliary hookup I have in my car, but I had a friend do it for me. Ford dealership charges $400 to connect it to your factory radio. Very detailed instructions!
