My name is Will and I am new to the San Diego area, but not to the Mustang scene.

Second owner of my 01 GT, after the usual bolt on's I decided to have some fun and swapped in an 03 Cobra Motor! Upgraded the blower with a 2.3L Whipple Charger, Fore Precision fuel with 60# injectors, twin Ford GT fuel hats, Cobra fuel tank, the T56 has been upgraded with an MGW short throw shifter and an upgraded output shaft. Metco lower pulley assembly, ACUFAB throttle body. Out back is a rebuilt limited slip 3.73 Ford Racing differential and 31 spline axles. Swapped the brakes from stock GT to the units off a Cobra.
Maximum Motorsports Maximum grip kit installed.
Exterior wise, not much. Darker headlights, Mach 1 grill delete and lower lip assembly, Bullet fuel door, 18X10 Bullet deep dish wrapped in BFG KDW2 295/35R18, offset by 18X9 Bullet deep dish wrapped in BFG KDW2 275/35R18.
Exhaust is courtesy of Kooks 1-7/8" Long Tubes running into a Borla exhaust.
Tuned courtesy of SCT3 and Fastlane Motorsports in NC.
Runs great on pump gas, safely getting me 590 hp and 540 tq at the wheels on 18 psi.

Future projects for my car are:
The usual gripes that occur with time, I need to replace the passenger door window switch, the cowl is cracked, the windshield wipers need to be removed and cleaned up, I would like to have the car repainted by a professional shop but not sure about the color.
My favorite color is blue, I love black cars, the stock dark red is still favorable though so opinions are encouraged!
I need to remove the rear deck lid spoiler, I want to go for the Bullet look.
I need to install new brakes, stronger and better looking.
Any other moans and groans that occur with time.

I enjoy helping others with their Mustangs by turning wrenches, detailing or whatever. I enjoy driving the twisties more than a straight line and of course general cruising.

Welcome to the Wicked Stangs forum. Great-looking Mustang by the way. If you're interested in joining the club, fill out the application and bring it with you to any one of the upcoming events or monthly meetings. Looking forward to seeing your ride in person.

Thanks, I have already printed off the form and filled it out. I saw the mysti-chrome SN-95 Cobra from Sunday's cruise today, its parked right across from my car! ha

Hope I can make it to the next event, or if someone wants to cruise up Mount Palomar then have lunch at Lake Henshaw, that is fine too.

Welcome to WickedStangs! You've come to the right place for all that you like to do. There are a few here that likes to do road courses and we do some cruises up in the mountains too. Hope to meet you soon. And the car looks nasty and mean!
