going to do a engine swap. any ideas on how much that would run? or ideas on what would be the best engine to swap in? trying to stay away from the 4.6 and go bigger, i want something different, maybe supercharged 4.6 or possibly the new 5.0 or 5.4 from a wrecked GT500? Possibilities..possibilities...

Honestly you won't be satisfied if you ignore the 'go big or go home' saying haha. I decided myself that I won't ever get a GT 4.6 again.. It's at least a 4V cobra 4.6 or better. I'm not sure on pricing but if you could source a wrecked lightning F1-50, grab that 5.4 and swap in. Depending on the year of your car and electronics, a wrecked GT500 swapped motor would be the better choice but pricing will be considerably higher.

Why dont you go with a 5.0 crate engine from fordracing. You will get everything you need

Then again get a v-8 car for a daliy driver and use the 6 for a all out track car. Dump s stroker in there and cage ect

well he wont get everything he needs, but most can be ordered through ford racing and it would probably be the cheapest route though some massaging of certain parts of the car may need to be done, if your up for the task go with the 5.0, you have to think, the 5.0 will have ZERO miles
