CONVERTIBLES SOUGHT FOR 2011 MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND EVENT ON USS MIDWAY

I got this via email:
Greetings to All!

I hope this finds you all in good health! Chris Murch, a former Marine Officer and President of WS Radio here in San Diego, has asked us for a little help on Saturday, May 28 during Memorial Day Weekend.

WS Radio is hosting a live broadcast of several Internet Radio Shows from the USS MIDWAY that afternoon, beginning at 2 PM and lasting through the Kenny Loggins Concert on board that evening.

During the "Go Navy" Radio Show from 2 to 3 PM, he will have four Pearl Harbor Survivors and the Widow of a Pearl Harbor Survivor on the air! He would like five Volunteer Convertible Drivers to pick these honored Guests up at their residence, transport them to the MIDWAY, and then return them to their residences when they're ready to return. Volunteers will be given free passage to board the MIDWAY with their dignitaries.

To volunteer, or for additional details, please contact Chris directly either through the email address shown, or by calling him at (858) 442-1734.

Respectfully,

Scott H. Langhoff

Well, its not a parade or show. They want only 5 to pick up the dignitaries from their homes to the USS Midway for a ceremony. The only show is for when they get to the pier where the Midway is the convertible will allow the dignitaries to be seen. The members could go out there, but the cars won't be seen.
