www.ridgemotorsportspark.com this is the website for the track that is currently being built they have pavement down already. this is supposed to be a one of a kind track. with garages 3 or 4 lanes drag strip, as well as a road course. Also near the track is a 76 station that sell 110 octane at 8.02 a gal.

im wondering if people in the sd chapter want to attend, because a few of us are wondering if we could set something up to were the west coast chapters would meet up and such. Soji, his wife, Josh out of the seattle-tacoma chapter, and me we talking about it today at dinner after i showed them the track, Soji said that once he is back he is willing to go. In a sense id like to set up a west coast meet and greet with a race day. and with this new track being built here it would be awesome if we could set it up on opening day, to get our name out here in the nw as well as all over. i know that people from oregon, washington, idaho, and even canada will be going to this track, not saying that they will be their on opening day. and yes danny i ment this to be on the sd chapter seeing as your chapter is the farthest away, if we get enough people from the sd chapter that want to go, im sure that the chapters north would follow

Ok. Cool. I was just wondering if it was posted in the wrong place. I like the idea, the main issue for us would be the distance.

Well yeah we considered the distance we know it is a little far for you guys but id be able to host a few people and maybe able to get some rooms pretty cheap (like $60) that hold 6 people for a night or 2.... understand its a long shot but would be cool to get a few of you guys out there....

Its more of a distance for the car then anything. Worry about what if it breaks on the track after such a long drive.

I thought about that as well and mentioned a central location as well. I also mentioned checking it out for me after i get back from overseas and get my truck. I would at some point like to trailer the car up there and run that road coarse. Wreckage would just be a trailing back. This is of course down the road for me i won't be able to do that by opening day this coming season. This will require a little planning and saving on my part at least........

If I trailer a car, it will be mine. I want to drive a car that will tear up the 1/4 mile, the race car isn't set up for that distance.

Sorry Soji that I had forgotten you mentioned meeting up in a central location if I had remembered I would have put that in the post as well. I'm sure we all know that when we come up with an idea that is awesome in one way or another things tend to slip the mind. But hey this is why its a feeler. So if any other people have any ideas for a meeting in a central location or possibly up here let us know. I personally think it would be awesome to have the west coast chapters meet up one day. I kinda miss San Diego awesome place down their (just don't like the emissions down their)
