I'm heading out to the 'Q' this Friday for a little of the old slip and slide. :burnout:
I need the tree practice for KOT @ Barona.

Anyone else planning to go?

NEXT RACE Friday, November 5th, QUALCOMM STADIUM 6PM TO MIDNIGHT

Friday Night Event Hours:

* Gate and tech open at 6:00 PM.
* Racing begins 6:30 PM.
* Tech closes at 10:30 PM.
* Racing ends at 12:00 AM.

Trophies awarded at 11:00PM--MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN

Admission Fees:

* Racer: $30.00
* Spectator: $8.00 (5 and under - Free)

Race Event Location:

All races take place on the west side parking lot portion of Qualcomm Stadium. All racers and spectators should enter through the main entrance of Qualcomm Stadium, go left and follow the signage to the front gate.

The only way I am running is if I get tires but I don't see that happening right now.

OMG guys no competition? This will be a easy win. You guys should stil come out tire or not will be great to show support and have fun. I guess they could make a rule street tires. No one would hook though and we would all look funny out there running. I am sure there are some on craigslist. Check with other members that are not making it out and see if they have tires. I guess if we have to we can switch out tires

Excellent! It looks like we'll have a good turnout. SD Stangs usually rolls deep to this too (although I've never seen them run).

The track was actually pretty good the last time I went. I was running really consistent times, and achieved my personal best.

I think if I hit the sticky side before all the Hondas turn it into soup, I might see some 8.8's!

I had a great time, and got in some really good runs.

Track was slippery as hell, as I was spinning half way through second gear. But my 60 ft and ET didn't seem to suffer for it. My best run of the night was only .003 off of my personal best at this track. I also took another trophy, as an early run locked me in with a 9.009, and I was able to focus on my RT.

Along the way I had some good kills, and I realized, I have a interesting advantage. The way my car looks. I have often thought my car looks faster than it is, and can't really keep up with a lot of high performance cars. But at the track, my cars aggressive appearance causes other drivers to make mistakes. They either red light, or over do it, and cook the tires. Either way, it is a win for me!

I wish more of you had made it out. Maybe next time.

Congrats David!!!! So they are giving out trophys again or still them ribbons? That is great though bro way to represent. I cant wait to see you at KOT event. I hope you pick up some tires soon it will be like night and day im telling you bro. Congrats good runs
