Hey everyone my name is Steve Kane and I am with the American Muscle Showdown event. I heard about your club from a few people who registered their cars in our show. I am excited to extend my invitation for you to come out to our lifestyle event in Del Mar, San Diego CA. We will be having an awesome show for all of you. Here is a list of events happening....

Also Just to let everyone know proceeds will be forwarded to the fallen Officer who lost his life a few weeks ago. A foundation has been set up for Chris Wilson's 2 kids. It has been over 7 years since we lost a SDPD officer in San Diego. This event will definitely benefit a family in the long run. RIP Chris Wilson

From my understanding the company *** will not be allowed to participate as a vendor at the show or be a sponsor. The show has been turned over to investors based on a deal made about 4 months ago. I am not aware of anything else since I came in about 3 months ago. I have been asked the same question on a few other blogs and I don't know much about what the details are. All I know is that I answer to a board of directors and they are the ones who call the shots. I am not interested in what the situation is with *** since I don't have time to look into it. My job is to extend the invitation to this show to all groups. Let me know if you have any other questions for me. I hope to see you at this amazing event!! Steve

I thought this show was created by Showcase Media Group, whose founder is also the manager of H C M. In the past car shows I've gone to this year, people from H C M have been passing out flyers for this event.

LOL I tried looking for your name but couldn't find it. It might be because I am new at the forum game. BTW what other car clubs don't you associate with? My name is Todd Eden and we have no further problems with any clubs in San Diego. There has only been one club we will not support nor associate.
I have discussed this event with the senior leadership for WickedStangs and the consensus is not to support attendance this year. This will not stop our members from attending, but the club will not be endorsing the event. We are taking a watch and see approach and may attend next year. Good luck with the event.
