[Aug 3, 2013] Barona Speedway Oval Racing (Lakeside, CA)

August 3rd, oval, clay surface racing at Barona Speedway. Plan to tailgate in the parking lot above the track. Great place to watch the race. Adult beverages allow.
In case you have never been to the speedway, its in the same location as Barona Dragstrips, the oval track is behind the pit area and up the hill.

Gates open at 1pm, racing starts at 5pm.
Adults: $10
Teens: $5
Age 7-12: $2
Under 6: Free

I'm bringing the truck and a BBQ. Bring your burgers/dogs or whatever you want to throw on the grill for your dinner. Hope to see a BIG crowd.

I'm not going to get up there until at least 3 maybe 3:30. Have to wait for the g/f to get off work. Driving her car so I don't have to dirty mine. :BigGrin:

Alright, Todd will be up there at 2pm. He will have the truck and BBQ. Bring what you want to grill and drink and lets have a great Wicked Stangs evening at the races. Make sure you bring a chair, the plan is to sit up on the parking area looking down on the track and we can BBQ and drink as we watch the race.

C'mon, I hope its more then just Todd and I are going tomorrow. Todd will be there with the truck and grill at 2pm. I'll be up there around 3, as soon as my girlfriend gets off work. Bring what you want to grill and drink (adult beverage allow) and bring a chair as we will watch the race from the hill, good vantage of the track, where we can grill and drink all night. Going to be a good time. Don't miss it.
