Axle-back exhaust??

I'm looking at replacing the stock exhaust on my 2011 v6 and was wandering what exhaust you guys reccomend? I've looked at Borla, magnaflow and flomaster. I may go with flomaster, which still sounds pretty good and is the most economical.

i recommend doing the magnapack exhaust that moves the mufflers to under the middle of the car where they should be, i personally hate exhaust notes with axle-back mufflers

well i dont want to mess with the rest of the pipes, i like the set-up just want to change out the mufflers

Ihave axle back "Drone Masters" do not put Flowmasters on your V6 like I did .I'm going to try the Pipes with resonators on them.

I also looked at MRT Max thunder , which is comparable to SLP, a round kinda straight through design, I like borla and of course ford racing both are expensive but i love the sound.

I would personaly go with JBA. My exhaust sounds great. Well of course I have cams and no cats too...

i think the sound of exhaust is all preference. i would do what some of the guys suggest and listen to some setups on youtube and that will give you an idea of what each brand sounds like

true, i think i've narrowed it to ford racing and borla, same price but as far as youtube sound ford racing sport was the best. I wish someone had the same car as me out here that i know and I could listen to it realtime. I appreciate the advice!

I thought FRPP exhaust was made by borla and had a ford logo on it.....I know when I bought my FRPP GTA's there was the same thing made by borla.

there are a few different FRPP exhausts, there is the FRPP "stinger" which is the same as the Borla, and the FRPP FR500S, which in my opinion sounds better

Yeah ford stuff. I know Borla made some exhaust and eibach made springs etc. I guess they just rebadge stuff with the FRPP logo.

ive looked at a forum and they all seem to say that FRPP and borla are quite simular, they do sound alot alike though.
