Anyone else have a banner disintegration problem??

Emilio has made and applied 2 to my Stangarella. Both shredded. This one, as the last, is blowin' in the wind like shredded underwear.

NOW I have witnesses. I did make it to the meeting this evening, albeit late due to my navigation disorder, HA! Sooooooooooooo I'm not making this an imaginary disorder. nee neer nee neer :)

I have done nothing, that I am aware of, to cause this banner behaviour. Any ideas, suggestions?

Need a new one but would like for #3 to stay put. If I want shredded underwear blowin' in the wind, I'll hang mine on the antenna.

Keep the sticker waxed. I always wax the window (and sticker) when I wax the car and when ever I use spray detailer I also do the windows. Dont know if it helps stickers but it is supposed to help protect the paint from the sun so why not the sticker?? Also make sure the window is free of wax prior to putting a sticker on. When I masked off my hood to cut it for the shaker the tape would not stick at all until I stripped the wax completely off with alcohol.

Thanks Blue Boss! Come to think of it, when I had my biz name and info banner put on my work vehicle, the fellow used 90% alcohol to clean window first. She sits out in the sun 24/7 and none of the letters / numbers have come loose. So, hopefully banner #3 will stay put on my Stang. I also use detailer on the windows and banner so must be the window was not cleaned well enough for letters to stay put.

it will dry out over time in the sun, keep some kind of moisture on it like a wax and it will last longer, but wont last forever

Thanks Renegade. Tried that and I always keep her covered but still comes off. Maybe this one will stick. HA!
