I think we should try to get the race car out for this event. We can do some test and tune. I still have a full bottle of nos I need to use.
I would rather it tun through the race car than just open the valve and let it all out so I can put it on ship for home port change. Lets get the car out on track again. Albert I like to see your car make it down the track as well

Looks like the weather will be clear (and cold) tomorrow. Plan to meet at the Denny's on Mollison @ 8, roll out to Barona @ 9?

Let's see if I can even get close to the same times from my first trip there.

Oh, and I'll try to get in more than three timed runs!

I want to be the first to say congrats to 2K7GTCS on a new personal best. Yes guys he moved up a notch on the leader board. If some of you are not carefull after he gets a stall and some tires he weill be coming after you. I still havent talked him into the juice but working on it lol.

Thanks Guys. This was my last pass of the day. I had run some pretty good times before this, including an 8.76 and 8.77, matching my best time from the previous event.

With the trap speeds @ 83 mph, I guesstimated the car should be capable of 8.6's, but just nailing the throttle off the line, the car would bog, and run high 8.7's and low 8.8's. With traction being so good, I figured the only way to improve my times with a stock stall converter was to pre-load the chassis by bringing the RPM's up a little, to try and get a little spin out of the hole.

This particular run was a solo pass, and the car had been sitting for a couple hours cooling off during the Lunch break. So, with ideal conditions, the launch was the best I've had with this setup (first sub 2 second 60 ft), and my reaction time was the best I've had at this track too. Overall, this run was definitely a peak performance so far.

Yes, a higher stall and sticky tires might drop my 60 ft times quite a bit...
...and a little juice probably wouldn't hurt either!
