Blast from the Past Car Show-Chula Vista

I went by the Blast from the Past Car show today after work. I got there around 5:45pm. Parking is along 3rd Ave between E St and G St. All the meters were taped off, so parking was free. However, the bad thing is, there are regular cars parked in those spots too, doesn't look like anybody is enforcing parking to only those displaying their cars. Also, it doesn't look like they restrict only classics to park there (not like anybody was enforcing it anyways). So parking is first come first serve. It also don't look like there are much parking anywhere else. So, that's the report I have for this show.

TJ and I are might check out the Friday night cruise at the Lakes. Not sure what it will be like but sounds like fun. If I go I will post pictures and let everyone know how it turned out.

Thanks for going Danny but it sounds like we would have just as much luck parking as the el cajon one lol!!! I am talking to Steve to see if there is anything they can do about parking. I am trying to get ahold of the owners of the lot to see if anything can be done.

Just a heads up. They increased the entry fee to Santee Lakes to $5.

Yeah, parking is not much better, actually worse I think.

Yeah i plan on going and so does Steve. I'm just curious about it and I usually do not work on Friday nights. I will let everyone know how it turns out.
