SAN DIEGO: At least two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 near state Route 94 about 2 p.m. Monday that may have involved three vehicles racing, according to KGTV/Channel 10, a media partner of the Union-Tribune.

One of the victims may have had his legs severed during the crash, according to Channel 10. A section of the I-5 near downtown San Diego remains closed, California Highway Patrol Officer Larry Landeros said. Landeros did not have information available to verify details of the accident.

I drove by this. I couldn't even tell what kind of car it was considering it took 2 tow trucks to carry each half of it away. I'm syprised that the people inside are alright though after seeing the condition of the vehicle

I am happy that I didn't recognize this mustang. So sad when ppl get stupid, now 1 of the guys in the stang has lost both legs. And the fact that the both of them survived is a miracle in itself. On the news they said that a Audi and a Mercedes were seen racing with them. There were a lot of calls on all of them. I don't think they will get away unscathed. Cell phones and video...yikes, good and bad right?

chp took back their statement yesterday or the day before saying they are unsure if it was to street racing

either way they are retarded, the witnesses said it was them and 2 other cars and the mustang was tyring to keep up and the 2 cars jumped onto the 94 and the stang swerved to try and make it but didnt. just another brief military is going to have to sit through before the days of summer they will eb added to the list of statistics that are already on there

for once not wearing your seat belt worked out for the person.

i call it natural selection and weeding out the dip shits

the car was going in well in excess of 65 said the cops based on witnesses and skid marks.

i drive with a heavy foot but there is a time and place who races on ramps or changing highways? and also doesnt it through traffic?
