Exaust Help

Been a while guys, some may remember me when I was stationed there. I got a friend still in San Diego that is in need of some help and I would deeply appreciate any help as well. She is about to drive from California to Texas to save money on catalytic converters for her 2007 Ford Explorer. The dealership is charging her 3000 to do it vise 1000 in Texas. She said the law states that only a car 10 years or older may utilize aftermarket parts. I wish there was something I could do cause this retarded!

Hey Shane, hope all is well.

Have her contact Ed Hanson's Muffler Shop in Spring Valley. He is an honest guy and he may be able to assist her. If she's military, that would be a bonus, Ed is real pro military.

Thanks Danny, he helped her out and save her thousands!

Everything is great here! When I left Cali I stopped and stayed with a close friend in my home town and we hit it off and now married. 6 Months ago I retired from the Navy and need 64 credits to finish my BA. Finally got my Cobra back with the new FR long block and with the biggest pulley and spare timing she made 575rwhp. Had to drop the tank and clean it out and install a bigger system. Easy 600 at the wheel! I did however sell the car recently but still have the 5.0. Next is a Ford F150 for me, then maybe a Shelby to replace the GT down the road. Hope you all are doing great out there!

BTW, seen a chic here in Goose Creek at the commissary on base that had a Wicked Stangs T-Shirt on, believe she said she was from Washington.

Wow, Shane. Congrats on getting married and your retirement. Sounds like things are going well for you out there. Good luck with getting your BA, that would be a nice accomplishment, too. I think we have a few chapter out in Texas now. Where are you in Texas again?

I'm also glad Ed was able to help her out and got her car fixed. Like I said, Ed's a real good and honest guy. Not too many left around.

Danny, I was in Corpus Christi and yes there were some guys there that started a Wicked Stangs chapter. I went to a meeting or two before I left to come to see you guys before I met you. I retired in Charleston, SC however.

Ben, I do believe I seen them in a black stang about a month ago. I talked to her briefly and she was cool.
