foglight issue?

hey guys its been a while since ive been here been busy soooo i was detailing my car and never noticed it but i have a centimeter seperation where the foglight bulb doesnt meet or align with the circular grille rim. see

i looked into it and there is a latch behind the foglight that was unsecured and allowed the foglight to move around of which i could then square it off with the grille rim but can be easily moved out of place.

if i secured the latch the foglight stays put and wont budge however i get that centimeter of space and it looks off centered and is bugging me. im not sure if it came like this or if something happened behind the grille that i need to tighten up or look into. does anyone else have this issue or im i being crazy.
