Hey all sorry I didn't get a chance to get together with many of you when I left, but I flew out of SD on the 30th and will be on hull on the east coast until April some time. I had a lot of fun chasing out those old back roads with Dave and company this summer. Will work on a muffler for the cameras mic so we get less wind noise next time. We have been extreamly busy transfering custody of the ship from the Gold crew to us and this is really the first time in the last couple weeks that I have had time to sit down and catch up.

Some of you may or may not remember that I was looking for orders before I left and that a coast change was a distinct possability. Good news orders have landed and I am going to USS Stockdale DDG 106 in May of next year, better news they are on their maden deployment with the Charlie Vand should get home shortly after I transfer. Dave will be looking in on my Cobra from time to time and I am sure that Trixxie will get Tessa out to the house of mouse from time to time LOL.

Hey Dan,

I was so glad to hear you will be stationed in San Diego. I know how much you and Tessa enjoy living in SoCal (don't we all!). I don't know if you heard, the Nimitz is now headed to Everett after a year of dry-dock in Bremerton...

If the winter in Norfolk starts to be too much, just think Happy Warm San Diego Summer thoughts LOL!!
