HELP!!!!!!!!

Sooooo driving the other day I had Firestone live up to its name and well... this happened...

So now I need help making a decision, do I keep the stock rims and put 255/40s on them, buy 15in summit racing wheels (4in front 10in rear with 325/50s), or try and track down 17/9 and 17/10 silver SC deep dish or anthracite 10th anniversary wheels (American Muscle is out of both).

HELP ME DECIDE!!!!!!!!!

Is it a DD? Go with the 17/9, 17/10 10th anniversary.

yes DD, Im looking at price wise too and the 17s are the expensive route. Also found a better option than the 325s, same 15s with a 295 radial in the rear instead of a DR, I just don't know if an 8in or 10in would be better with 295s.

My other big problem with the 17s is the side wall, I hate the look of a SN95 with a tiny side wall like a 315/35/17 and think they look so sexy and natural with a small rim tall sidewall.

you will need a 10in for the 295s. 8's are too small for 295s. I have 9" rims and 275 is the widest I can go. As for the thin wall, 315/35/17 will not be thin, you will have a pretty good side wall. I used to think the same thing until I got a 295/35/18 with my Nitto. The side wall was pretty healthy since I drag with it and it held nicely, so I wouldn't too worry too much.

Lee no worries what so ever bud, they are firestones I knew it would happen at some point lol. Well she is getting an old school look, it has been decided. Summit racing fast five 15x4 with 205/75s and 15x10s with 295/50 BFG radials that have been made since the dawn of time lol. I really think this is going to give it a good look with a 6.5 bs on the rear rims and the pro kit springs on the car. I'll post pictures as soon as they are in and on. I still need to break out the gopro and make a video of the exhaust I made for it.

Rims are on order, tires will be ordered tomorrow. I can't wait to get them on, but now I am going to have to teach my girlfriend how to drive the mustang all over again.

Might get mounted tomorrow, I'm going to "roll" the fenders before they go on, and by roll I mean hammer by hand like I always do.

Well tires are mounted and the rears are on but I won't have pictures until Tuesday. The calipers on the front are rubbing the back of the spokes so I have to grind down the calipers to make it work.
