i more question about the clutch

first of all sorry about all the quations im pretty new at this

my cluch just isnt engaging like it should, when i first shift into geat it boggs down at first and then finally catches around 3000 rpm, it doesent seem to do this in 4th gear or 5th. does this sound like my clutch is bad or ive heard of glazing im not sure. thanks

bogging down would be the engine. that would meant the clutch is grabbing and the engine cant handle the load cause its messed up somehow. if it were slipping and the engine was reving, but you werent going anywhere. that would be the clutch
