to say hi in the newbie forum. Just ran across this site today through the link database on allfordmustangs.com. Figured I'd join up and say hi and introduce myself.

My name is Shannon, I live in Colorado Springs and have a 1988 GT Mustang. It's currently getting an engine swap with another stock 5.0, as the original was leaking oil from every place possible to leak oil from, not to mention using coolant as well. Soooo, even though she ran great, leaving oil everywhere I go is not cool. She should be done today. Yay!

A little about Madeline (the 88). She's white with grey bottom, tan/black interior (which I find uncommon, anyone have any input on this?), five speed and completely bone stock. Is in pretty good condition, considering she wasn't taken very good care of by her previous owners. Future plans are body work, paint, and interior work. She'll serve as my daily driver.

Thanks guys! I don't have any great pictures of the car yet. I'm waiting to get my chrome ponies on and then snap some shots of it. It currently has the stock turdbines on it.

I can however, post pics of my boyfriend's two rides. The red one is his street car and the blue coupe is the race car, twin turbo, pushing 1100 rwhp.

Wow very nice stangs... I remember when I had my race car... :mad:.. Had Twins and had to sale my toys.. But, I did keep one..

Hey Shanon so are you going to sart a new chapter in CO.? You have a good start now with the 3 mustangs.. Just need to get some window stikers... go look through some of the albums and find a clear pic..Its pretty cheap to get them made

I hadn't thought much about starting a chapter, but now that you mention it, I think I'd like to pursue that. Besides the window stickers, what else would you require for a chapter to be started and maintained? We have lots of Mustang friends, that are definately "wickedstangs". I'll check out the window stickers this afternoon in the gallery. If I decided to do this, would you be opposed to me having some business cards made up for the site and chapter? I know those help a lot and can be left under windshield wipers on parked cars.

Oh, and thanks for the warm welcome!

I just sent message off for you to the San Diego chapter. He should get in touch with you. That is how are Central chapter recruits. We had cards made up and stick them under wipers as well..

Haha! He's talked about selling the red one, but I won't let him. I know the blue one isn't going anywhere. He has plans for a whole new twin turbo kit set up, bigger turbos, better headers, etc. Should be very nasty then.

Blackstallion~We weren't able to get the car to the track before they closed up for the winter. I'm sure all the changes will be made before it gets to the track for the coming up season. As it sits now, it should be deep in the 9's, but like I said, that's just a guesstimate. As I'm sure you know, a Mustang is never done, so by the next season, it'll probably have a completely different set up. We'll be sure to keep you posted on it's progress.

Wickedstangs~Things are going good. I think I'm good to go so far. Talked to a few more friends about the Colorado Chapter and they are all good to go. I should be getting everything set up soon. Thanks for all the help!

What track do you go to is it Vandameere? Or something like that..I have a brother in law from CO. I grew up with him telling me stories of His Cyclone he used to race there..It ran 10's on the moter. I remember one story he told me about a Mustang. He was drunk and my sister was driving the Cyclone home. (427 moter) It was white w/ primar spots and no hood with a tunnel ram and 2 fours. This 86 Mustang GT kept messing with her down one of the main roads in downtown Denver. Finaly she got tired of it and when The light hit green she clicked the Quicksilver shifter down and jumped on it..Of course the stang was no match for the cyclone, but my brother said all he seen was the head light as this guy was banging gears.. Ever since then He had wanted one..I have another sister who has owned mustangs since 85gt, 92 Gt and now a Cobra. Though jim seen them and drooled he finaly bought a 06 this year and loves it..
