Joe Gosinski from Chicane Motorports Murdered

Wow....That is a trajedy. Joe was a pretty cool guy, real down to earth. This is so sad for his family especially so close to the holidays. My prayers go out to them.

I wonder if this was a robbery gone bad?

I posted this a few minutes ago at Team Shelby forums:

Joe was able to talk about cars, yes, but that was just an ancillary expression of his real self, which was fluent in life, morality, ethics, business, art, and... well, you name it, and he could help you understand and appreciate it better than you thought you ever could.

I only saw him upset one time, and he didn't express anger at someone who had wronged him, but disappointment that the person hadn't lived up to his capabilities.

While he was working on my car, he let me sit in his racecar-seat-like office chair and visit with his friends who came to chat and just hang out. It was one of the most pleasant and edifying automotive experiences I've had; elite company in one of the most seriously innovative locations in Southern California. Yesterday Ms. UPS delivered my new racecar-seat-like office chair, the purchase inspired by Joe's chair and his generosity. Mine will be known from now on as the "Joseph Gosinski Memorial Chair". I'm sitting in it now (and crying a tear), and will think of Joe every time I see it or use it, and will be the richer for every instance.

Thank you, Joe, for your contribution to my life, and to the world. Rest in peace, and the knowledge that more than most, you left the world a better place for all.
