All,

I will be installing another set of gears on Saturday the 30th of March. This set will be installed at my shop in National City, and like always, everyone is invited. We will begin the install at 9am and I hope to be done around lunch time. Hope to see everyone there!!!!

Would there be time to install some lca relocation brackets on my car that day? I want to go back to Barona on the 6th and see if that helps my 60ft times.

Brackets arrived today. Very beefy. If someone could bring a set of ramps on Saturday that would be great. I'll need them to final torque the bolts with the suspension loaded. Some people have improved their 60ft times by a full tenth with these brackets installed to correct the LCA geometry on lowered cars.

Sorry guys, I didn't even remember that I'm going to Yuma this weekend to see my Dad.

Anti-squat brackets went on very easy, and the difference is amazing!
I know this may sound counter-intuitive, but a couple of hard acceleration tests with a preloaded convertor on asphalt (in a private parking lot with owners approval), and I blew the tires off completely through 2nd gear. I attribute this to more power getting to the wheels, instead of being absorbed by the suspension.
My best 60ft before this change was 1.87 seconds. Anxious to get back out to the track next week to see how much that improves.

Thanks for the help guys. Car is a BEAST!

Sounds great!! How did the gear install go? Did Phil make it in time? How many people besides the RSVP'd personnel did you end up with?... This sucks I'm your guy when I get back.... I may not be an expert in these things, but I have two working hands and love to learn these things so all the help I can give makes me that much more knowledgeble when it is my turn to need to accomplish these types of maintenance actions. OJT if you will. Dave can't wait to hear about your results next weekend!!!!

It was another great WickedStangs Day. The gear install went very well and the "NEW" gears went in like butter. Thank you to everyone that showed up today and I look forward to our next install day!!!
