Mustang & motorsports guests on the radio today (Saturday, May 22/10 from 3 - 5 PM

Mustang guru J Bittle from JBA (which is celebrating 25 years in San Diego), along with Jeff Speer from Hoosier Tire in Indiana, have arranged with me to phone in to today's "You Auto Know" radio show. I co-host that show in San Diego with Dave Stall and would really like it if people from Wicked Stangs would call in too, and join in on the conversations.

The program airs every Saturday from 3 - 5 pm. The call-in number is (888) 344-1170.

I am trying (unsuccessfully, so far) to get Steve's (Fighting Sailor) email address, so that I can send him photos and a follow-up email from last Sunday's (May 16/10) autocross at San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium. The Wicked Stangs club was represented there.

It would be great to see more Mustangs come out to autocross with us. SCCA autocrosses are held there about once per month, usually on a Sunday.

Anyway, if you read this message, Steve, please send me your email address. Mine is jwagner2@san.rr.com. My special-order Mustang was manufactured last Tuesday and is scheduled to arrive at my dealership on or about June 10/10. The anticipation is killing me.

Thanks Jan, I think it will be a great Idea to get more club members out to the autocross I think I have peaked some interest in the sport, I am sure that the Mustang will be well worth it's wait and I can't wait to see it either take care and talk to you later

Thank you. Were you the Wicked Stangs member that was competing at last Sunday's autocross? I was slowly driving that loaner Mustang (with permission).

Yes I was the one racing I had a blast and am going to become a member of the SCCA so I can attend more and more of these events.

Pretty good show, totally driven by the calls and what folks wanna talk about. I say we call in every week and keep WickedStangs in the loop.. BTW Jan you can drive my Shelby if I can drive yer 2011....
