Ok guys I know everyone has their own opinion regarding tuners and shops blah blah blah. I am not gonna do a crazy build on this 2013 Mustang GT. All I am gonna do to this car is get a CAI, custom tune and exhaust x pipe and mufflers.

Ive had decently built cars in the past and I plan to keep this conservative for now. With that being said.

I am new to the Ford world being a life long GM. Please point me to the right direction in regards to a reputable performance shop in the area at least withing an 1hr-1.5hr of San Diego. Thanks

If you are looking for a top notch performance shop, there is only one in the San Diego area that I would recommend: JR Performance in Escondido.

I would trust the lead Mechanic on the forums..... CWO! As John said though those items are easy to do yourself in one afternoon. Unless you are gonna custom tune it there is no need to see a shop for those things.

I can tell you where not to go.

Thank you guys for the info. I am gonna get my car custom tuned. So far my parts list goes as follows: jlt cai, either magnaflow, borla s type or gt500 axlebacks with a xpipe and a custom tune @ Cms in murrietta. Cms built my 11second street driven G8 so I'm gonna stick with them since they are doing up Fords and other makes now...
