Just wanted to share with everyone what I'll be doing in July this year. I'll be taking "Rattle Trap" my 87 GT T-tops on a road rally with proceeds going to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
( http://www.fallenheroesfund.org/About-IFHF.aspx )

I will be putting over 2500 miles on a 24 year old foxbody in under a week!! The Rally will run though parts of Va, NC, & SC. We will be hitting Shenandoah Speedway for a few laps round the road course, Motor Mile Dragway for a quickest reaction time Challenge, Meet and Greet with NASCAR Legend David Pearson and two laps around Darlington International Speedway!!! We will be one of 80 teams doing this event and it is sponsored by CJ Pony Parts also.
For more info check out the web site... http://www.rallynorthamerica.com/
And for a video from last year's Route 66 Rally chick here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6G9qSXKhlqo

Right now we are looking for sponsors for our team. Part of the proceeds will go to the charity also.
The event is being covered by MANY local newspapers and TV stations all along the route, as several Youtube videos, along with a few daily bloggers. So any sponsors will get their name out there for sure!!!....HINT HINT

If you want or need more info please PM me.

Here is the "Trap"

Due to teams dropping out for reason or another we now have two spots open for the 2011 Rally. We will leave these open until Sunday to allow for our current teams to talk to friends that they may want to invite. If we do not have a full roster by Sunday we will open registration yet again take the first two teams and then begin a second stand by list.

This would be prime time for a few other stangs to join us in July!!!!

Well over the past few weeks alot has happened to the "Trap". New upper/lower control arms, sub frame connectors, shocks, struts caster/camber plates, spring isolators and decals. Next week or so new steel braided brakes hoses, pads and DOT 5 fluids and new B.F Goodrich tires.
