Team MMR does it again! The MMR team along with help from Don and Dana Cook (owners of the old MMR racecar) put the new racecar into the record books once again, the first full pass in our brand new racecar in the 3rd round of qualifying netted a 7.35@192 on a smooth pass @ only 26psi !. This Put Driver / MMR owner Mark Luton on the ladder in the 6th position out of 8, the #1 spot held Greg Hunter in his twin turbo Nova with a 6.77 ! This pass put MMR in the record books again making them the worlds fastest Full Body / non tube chassis mustang powered by a Modular motor and of course worlds fastest GT500
Unfortunately we were eliminated in round 1 by over staging and red lighting! Overall we had a great weekend and Mark would like to thank Alex Clochiatti (crew chief) and Don and Dana cook for their help!
