Hate to bring you some bad news, but you will need to weld a flat plate behind each of the removable pins. The plate helps protect the passenger and driver if side impact occurs. No big deal yet, but will be if your speed increases.

I just got off the phone with maximum motorsports and they told me that the door bars comply to NHRA and NMRA specs. The funny thing is the harness bar doesn't since it's detachable, harness bar passes engineering specs but im not to concerned about it bc it will be along while if ever I'll need to meet there specs. Just have it for safety, chassis strength and looks. It does look bad ass.
