Danny, if we can get a solid count of how many folks are planning to stay Friday and Saturday night (and therefore how many rooms we need), would you be willing to help us book those rooms together? You always seem to find the best deals. Assuming that a room with two beds will be shared by two people, my estimate is about 5 rooms.

As for driving up, I was planning to go up in the afternoon sometime. Leave around 2:00? I'm flexible.

If you go all three days it is $70, if you go Sat and Sun it is $45. I just looked it up and you can get a room for about 70-150. I want to drive up on Friday but I am not sure what time I can leave San Diego. If everyone is leaving at 3:00pm I might be able to make that.

There's a Comfort Inn in Pomona about 4 miles from the track. Its $74 a night.

The plan is to leave San Diego around 3 pm. Not sure on the hotel yet.

The Comfort Inn looks good. Looks like we'll need about 5 rooms. I'm prepared to go ahead and book these now, to make sure we have enough for everyone who has said they are going.

Dave. I found the room on Hotels.com, in the city of Pomona. Comfort Inn Fairplex.

I'm definitely going. Planning two nights, arriving Friday and checking out Sunday.

I think the plan is to leave at 3PM. I recommend we meet at the Denny's off the 15 in Mira Mesa (9998 Mira Mesa Blvd) as we usually do when we travel north on the 15. I say we meet at 2:30 and rollout at 3pm. Its approximately a 2 hour drive. 3pm may also avoid some traffic.

We're all set. I reserved 3 rooms with two queen beds for 2 nights:
1 for me + to share /w ??
1 for Emilio + kids
1 for ??

I figured it would not hurt to reserve extra now, rather than wish we had another room later...
