Dense fog advisory in effect until 9am Tuesday

Dense fog from a shallow marine layer will spread inland tonight reducing visibilities to one quarter mile or less through Tuesday Morning.

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a dense fog advisory, which is in effect until 9am PDT Tuesday...

driving in dense fog over the CORONADO bridge is freakishly scary (especially in the middle of the night). did it once for the thrill of not being able to see 2-3 feet in front of you going about 55-60 and driving next to the bridge wall. knowing that one mistake can lead to a plunge down the side of the bridge.

any way, every time there's a dense fog i think of the movie "THE MIST".
