I started this a while back. I was wanting to have dyno numbers before I posted this, but I blew head gasket on the dyno. So I'm back in the tear down process. But heres the pics.

took to ac condensor out to mount intercooler and cold side.

mounted intercooler tonight. Started to take oil pan off too.

neatened up the wire next and relocated my fuse box.

taped my oil pan and remounted it. It took a little to get it off and cleaned out, but its worth knowing its done right. Used jb weld on the outside to seal it.

got the bolt in we tried for over an hour this morning. Had to take the header off.

just got my fitting in today!

had to take steering shaft back out TWICE! And the header had to come off to do that. Had to grind the shaft to clear the turbo header. Still hits it some. Wonder if they make a shaft with a small section all the way to where it bolts to rack and pinion.

got most of it bolted up tonight. All I have left is to fill with oil, coolant, power steering, brake fluid, bleed brakes, run vaccumm hoses. Then to get it tuned.

had to run my power steering lines through the inner fender.

got my two new gauges in, boost and pyrometer to match my phantom look. Eventually will get a digital nitrous guage and wideband.

got it out of the garage. Allignment it so far off its not drivable.
front passenger is facing left

well adjusted tie rods to make wheels straight. Look at the tow in. LOL

put my stock springs back on an cut a full coil off. I think it leveled it back out to where it was before. I think the k member dropped in an inch. So I compensated by changing springs out.

Nice pictures. It is hard to beleave it has been 5 weeks since you started. Now when I see a Mustang with a turbo, I have a lot more respect for it knowing how much work is involved. I cant wait to see the new dyno #s.

Nice work ATL. Cannot wait to see the build in person. I'm still planning on heading to Florida in July and hope to be racing with you guys in the fall. I wont be as fast, but it will be a blast.
