All,

Your board members continue to press forward to assist in coordinating events, enhancing the clubs image and raising money.

Events:
MVTW IV: We have begun preliminary planning for this event to occur in April 2011. Steve (Fighting Sailor) will be contacting Don at Barona and finalizing a date.

Perry Ford Car Show: El Presidente' Emilio will be contacting the dealership to lock down a date in early December. We are looking to co sponsor this event with our toys for tots drive. We will have the dealership advertise the toys for tots portion and SD Stangs will also provide cars.

WS King of the Track: This event will be on 13 Novemeber. Steve is contacting Barona to add to their schedule. It will be $5 to enter the event and 5 trophies will be given. 1st, 2nd and 3rd for bracket racing and 1st and 2nd for the quick 8. Anyone can enter that is running a DOT tire and is a site donor to WickedStangs. Yes, it must say sight donor next to your name. The quick 8 will be derived from the 8 fastest ET during practice and bracket racing. The quick 8 will require the same tires and will be heads up.

WS Cruise and Dyno Shootout at GRC Performance: This will be open to all clubs and will begin with a cruise from San Diego out towards Alpine and then into GRC Performance. Look for this event in the spring!!!

Club Image:
We will have the toys for tots drive at Perry Ford and then a delivery at the VFW in Ramona.

Raising Money:
So far, our event coordinator (Donna) and treasurer (Yolanda) have been spectaculor. They have combined to raise over $500 and are continuing to keep the calendar full. The dyno shootout and King of the Track events will be additional fund raisers.

Thanks for the update Todd.
A couple of quick questions,

1. Have you guys (the Board members) decided how to take Drew ford up on the offer for sponsorship?

2. Has a date/plan been set for helping businesses in the local area that need our help (more of the mom and pop restrusants and such) that one can greatly get our name out in the public (with positive light) and provide some much needed capital for the local economy?

The Hooters thing is what it is, but those bigger Corporations don't need us. We need to be more into areas that are more centric around what the WS Club needs like access to Mustang Owners, Camaro Owners, and Muscleheads so that we can get a better turn out for Mustangs vs. the World IV.

Star and Lady GAGA2 were working on alot of different things before I left, don't remember all of it though.

I'm just trying to help and think that we are all thinking this but just not remembering to say anything when we need to. my 2 cents.

All inputs are GREAT!!! If anyone has any good ideas or sponsorship questions please feel free to contact the board members through a PM. Steve (fighting sailor) is the PR (public relations) guy and should be your first stop.
