Ive been pondering on selling my 91 GT. ive had a couple of offers on it which i mean i think were maybe a little low just cause of the work and time and stuff i put in to the car. i know its an old car and all but ive gotten better than fair market for all the others ive sold. The other reason im considering is cause of smog. The car is currently registered out of state so its not a big deal right now. Yet CHP hasnt found me yet because ive been driving miss daisy around here. Just wanted to knoow if i could get some feedback im gonna take some pictures today to come back and post. ill give a list of all the things good and bad with car.
Good- Brand new tires all the way around with warranty on y2k 17's, kyb gr-2 shocks and struts, bbk springs, MM caster/camber plates. Pro 5.0 shifter, dual friction centerforce, fully adjustable clutch cable. fresh rebuild 302 .030 over, cast crank, custom ground split duration cam 507/520 276/284, Cast iron Gt40 heads(not P's originals with no AIR provisions in rear of head), Stock upper and lower with 24lb injector, 65mm TB, MAF tuned for 24lbs inj, BBK CAI w/ K&N filter, bbk longtubes with 3" midpipe and 2.5" catback. Has 98 Cobra Big Disc brakes all the way around with the 5 lug swap. Lx taillights. Subframe connectors
Bad- Needs headliner, new factory seat covers, theres a few worn synchros in tranny shifts fine just cant downshift into second at high speeds. Needs speedometer unit. Could use paint body is straight though just have some clear popping off.
Really just trying to find out where is a good place to start with price. Its clean title car and theres not even 10k on the motor and it runs great. i know i have alot of time and money into the car but i also know there has to be a balance cause its still an old car. i would appreciate any help guys. will post pics today
