I was finally able to get my baseline dyno and install of the VMP 2.59 pulley and tune by Justin. To give you a little background on my car, when the stock dyno pull was made all I had on the car was a resonator delete and an
Airraid Filter. I had the dyno and install done and RPMM here in San Diego. Gregg and the guys at RPMM were great. They use a Dyno Dynamics for their tuning and do not have a Dynojet. From what I was told by Gregg the 2010/2011 GT500's stock normally put down between 420 and 440 rwhp and read lower than a dynojet. Much to my surprise and his my car put down 481rwhp and 480rwtq! On a dynojet that should easily be above 500. After the pulley and tune the car made 541.8rwhp and 544rwtq!
I am extremely happy with these numbers. On a Dynojet I should be around 30rwhp higher. The gains were pretty much as advertised for a 91 Octane tuned car. I picked up 61rwhp and 64rwtq. The car feels great! Traction wasnt so good at first until I got the tires warmed up a bit but with some throttle modulation you can get the car to hook in second. Below are the stock and pully Dyno and Air Fuel Ratio numbers.
A big thanks to Justin Starky at VMP for the parts and awesome tune and to Gregg at RPMM for the install and dyno!
