i def agree!!! I for one think that before a big event there doesnt need to be a event like this one. Its not that its not a good idea
to go to this place, but before a big event def not. I am sure some of the other members will agree. If i take my wife and kids to mc donalds it will cost
me at least 25$. I cant affoard to do something like this before a event. The e.q. Def needs to take things like this into consideration and have big events close to paydays. If we want to get together on a wed night we could hit the local starbucks or possibly the ice cream place that the do the gearhead meet . It will be less then 10 bucks for everyone. Getting a couple of ice cream cones, or a cup of coffee is cheap. Just my two cents:)

keep in mind this was not done by the event coordinator. It was done by me. I do not want her to be blamed for my "bad" planning. This will be my last planned wed. Event so there is no more confusion.

Why ya treat me like that?
Hey FS,

You can rent a helmet at the track. I would love to see you run the Bullitt @ the Q tomorrow!

I would LOVE to run Stangarella tomorrow!! I've tried renting there before but he didn't have any helmets for teenie heads. LOL If someone has one I can borrow that would fit I would do it. I'm going to look around today and try to find one somewhere. Maybe a shop somewhere will rent? If anyone knows please contact me.
Thanks a bunch! :star:

LOL. Yeah I was going to say. Even if a family of 2 goes somewhere cheap they spend at least 20 dollars now a days but yea it is optional of course. Just RSVP dang it hahahaha :)

When I go to an event, most of them I don't RSVP! So what if I RSVP to everything and then the day of the event I decide not to go so what good is the RSVP? If people are gonna go then they are gonna go regardless of the RSVP. I'm just saying RSVP is good but then again you can't count on it 100%.

Will they really show? I recall a few times that you have not shown when RSVPing. If I am not sure I will say maybe, but on Wed nights (when it's not an endorsed event), it's no big deal. I will always RSVP for an endorsed event as those are way more important as they benefit the club greatly.

Yes there was I beleive 2 times that something came up and I was not able to make it but I commented on the thread that I would not be able to make it as you can't change your RSVP the day of. A few times is fine because things come up I know. I wasn't calling anyone out so no one should call me out as I just made a simple comment (no disrespect what so ever). My only concern was when we reserve a place with a company willing to give us money to eat at their establishment it isn't good when we don't get anyone showing up. It looks bad. I wasn't trying to call anyone out just a simple concern I thought I would mention. Thank you for commenting and I will work on trying to show up for more events but I don't like taking my son to big events because he is restless so I have to get him a sitter in which I can't afford most of the time. I hope you had fun this weekend all and sorry I couldn't make it.

In my opinion the RSVP is a courtesy to the person or persons setting up the event. It allows them to know approximately how many people will be there. Yes life gets in the way sometimes and we have to cancel.
Lets try to appreciate the efforts to make things happen in htis club and try to show some respect. Its not easy to set events up and even the best coordinator could use some help sometimes.
