Sailor killed in electrical accident on the Reagan
Friday, February 19, 2010 at 5:10 p.m.

A sailor assigned to the Navy aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan died Friday afternoon in an electrical accident aboard the ship.

The Reagan is undergoing repairs at North Island Naval Air Station.

The sailor, who wasn’t named, was taken by ambulance to Sharp Coronado Hospital. He died about 2:30 p.m., Navy officials said.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
