He bought it original when i was only 3 years old. I remember my first bday in Garmisch camping in this thing lol.

The M3 is at the shop for new carpet.

Got the calipers and mounting hangers done and a few more things.

Got the wheels on and drove it to the shop for the next phase.

took leave and continued to work on the project. Got the new heater core and heater hoses installed, cleaned the trunk and more underneath, hood and rear side window seals installed, and got the front under pan installed. Working on cleaning and repainting the front calipers and will do the same for the rears. Then it's off to the upholstery shop for the new carpet this week, hopefully Thursday.

Got a chance yesterday to start working on the M3 again.

With the cold weather, broken shoulder (broke it catching a boy scout slipping down ice in garmisch in the alps) etc, it’s been a long wait to get going again.

Got the right side skirt, front bumper, headlights and grills mounted.

finally got the five 22 year old BBS wheels redone.
They look better than new.
Had curb rash on 2 and that was also fixed.
The paint is BMW Diamond Black Metallic to match the color of the car.
They have available new chrome screws but are 2 Euro a piece and each wheel has 34; do the math…
Waiting on the new BBS emblems to come in.

Didn't get much time to work on the M3 this past weekend.

All new parts mounted inside the front bumper and it's ready to mount on the car.

"Passed inspection!
Back up lights didn't work (switch or wiring again) and I need to adjust the headlights a little.
My friends at the inspection station said it looks like 2009/2010 car.
So you can see I have more work to do from under.
Next is charge the AC, jet coat header silver (I have all new mounting hardware), new shocks and maybe sway bars.
Ideally I want the shocks, springs and sway bars in red but we'll see.
More cleaning, painting and polishing.
You can see from under that the engine and transmission aren't clean enough.
Then the final big 3: Engine, transmission and differential when I get rich."
