Hey I garaged that thing. It wasn't me.
What did you expect it to look like for $299 and no clear coat? It needs a little body work before it gets painted again. I might just rattle can flat black it for the moment.
Progress pics. Installed the cam and checked it. It should thump pretty good .598 / .598
I got the heads fully assembled and ready to check piston to valve clearance once the Rockers get here tomorrow. I bought some play doh today
I also did some extensive work to the distributor to get it in spec. It had the wrong gear on it and it ate the previous camshaft gear. The distributor end play was way out of tolerance too. I fixed all of that and installed a new gear in the appropriate position.
