Well now I am on a break and plan on driving the car so it was back to working on it. I got a battery relocation kit and battery quick disconnect switch for christmas from the wife and her family so I installed that.

After looking at it in the trunk I realized something had to be done cause it was looking ugly as shit back there. I built a frame and cover to give the battery box the sunken in look.
How it looked.

notched it out for the wires to fit through

Covered the top of it with some MDF

Then added a thin sheet of wood that I upholstered with headliner material.

Just a little love for the car. Nothing super but I like the way it came out and makes it look much better than it did to begin with. Later on I would like to take it to a custom upholstery shop so they can add a ford symbol on there.
Thanks for looking.

Well picked up a few things to freshen the ignition today. This will be going on in the next few days. I am still awaiting next payday to order the coil and maybe after taxes order a new distributor.
Here are a few pics.

My father kept sending me links about these plugs so I figured I would give them a shot

Well for the past couple of days I have been working on the car slowly but surely. I am getting closer to getting her started again.
Here is how the motor used to look

Well as for the wires it was pissing me off seeing wires on the fender wells. I decided to reroute the wires. In the future I would like to go a route like this

but for now I will have it repainted to clean it up a bit.

Everything is wired up. Just need a few more grounds and remount the starter solenoid in the fenderwell as well and then she is back on the road.

ok well besides the starter wire needing to be extended and the PS hoses needing to be removed it is finally done. all the wires were neatly covered and secured under the fender.

The bottom wood on the "power station" is going to get upholstered today. I am so glad she is up and running again and can move it in and out of the garage

The car is looking good. I agree with you, the interior definitely looks a whole lot better now and nice color matching. The stance is excellent. Great job in building her. Came out excellent.

Still doing some some things here and there but I am happy where she is at now. Once I dig into the motor it is going to be a whole other project, and research. I go on cycle (pick up another platoon) in 2 weeks so for the next three moths after pickup she is going to be sitting :( but when I go on break again its back to work on the ol' stang

Roger, now it's time to put the cowl hood to work with some intake spacers and added horsepower.

I wanted a little more thump to the tunes so I got a JL audio sub and an alpine amp. I was not happy with the boxes they had available so I built my own to fit the trunk. It is going to either get covered or painted. I am happy with the way it came out

I built this tonight

Thanks brother, I have a few things in mind for the motor but for now I somehow stay away from there lol. I am trying to find out what I want to do with her. I bought the NOS kit a few weeks ago but have not got around to hooking her up yet.
