Definitley looks like a total loss from the pics you posted. i would be very surprised if they try and repair it... Hopefully you are able to get new one that is as good or better than that one. if you're planning on keeping it and not selling it, price or value drop shouldn't matter. that being said, you should check to see if it's tweaked anywhere on the frame. if not, then it may be as simple as replacing a few body pieces.

but if the frame is tweaked, i'd stay away. you'd be putting your safety at risk, cause the car won't perform as it should in the event of another fender bender.

p.s.

earlier today on a taco bell run, i had a person blasting their horn at me wanting me to turn. reason why i wasn't turning was cause there was a pedestrian walking towards me, blocking my view of oncoming traffic. person behind me was blaring their horn a good minute before i finally decided it was safe to turn. i know if i turned when THEY wanted me to and got t-boned, they woulda booked it out of there and i'd be assed out. some people. *sigh*

yeah, they do. but i think abs keeps you from locking them up and sliding... so the car still goes forward even if you slam the brakes. this is a case of following too close for the speed going.

which is the case sometimes. people only account for the amount of space needed to react and sometimes not the space needed for the car to actually stop. sure, they react in time, but the distance between one car and another is just too small and you still hit them.

I am glad your OK!! It hurts I know, I've lost 2 mustangs to wrecks (both not my fault) a 65 and a 97 GT.... I moved on to better things!
