Yeah, I definently recommend getting some 42lb injectors.

i would wait and see if the fuel pump is tapping out or the BAP isn't kicking out enough juice to the pump to see if that may be the reason, was the fuel filter changed too??? if it's dirty that can cause it to not do it's job as effeicently...

Are you guys seriously still talking about this? 11.8 is o.k. he hit 12.1 a little on the lean side. At no time did Bruce say "hey Danny you ran out of injector" or "hey Danny you're pump can't keep up with the demand". It was likely that a simple add in a fuel table could have fixed it. So I'll say it again for the cheap seats.......

THE F*CKING TUNE WAS ABORTED!

It has to get back on the rollers again to determine if there are other issues. I'm sure Kenne Bell knows what they are doing. If they didn't think that the 36's would be enough on a stock motor with a 2.1 they probably wouldn't include them in the kit.

I dont think he needs 42lb injectors....stock cobras did NOT come with 42lb injectors And we know the HP levels they can make stock.

Like orange says, get that thing back on the dyno...with possibly another boost gauge and finish the tune...should be good to go.

Don't get your panties in a bunch, we're just suggesting ideas, personally, I would always go bigger than just what's necessary, that just me though.

:behindsofa: Well JBA's incompetence has made me eat my words. They can and apparently did mess up something as simple as installing and reading a boost gauge. Today at Sonic I hooked up Danny's boost gauge. We went out on the freeway and Danny gave it a little hell! The most we saw was 9lbs of boost. I believe he took it over 5000 rpm and still the boost wouldn't go any higher than 9lbs.

What happened where JBA saw 12lbs..? I have no idea??? I think Danny is taking it to JBA first thing in the morning to ask them to go ahead and finish the tune. Good Luck Danny! I hope they do it right.........

All,
I understand you guys are pist at JBA but, we cannot come to speculations yet.. Let Sub go back and get his car tuned.. Not everyone is perfect if it takes us finding out that there gauge is bad. That is kudos on us. But, if there is a mistake at JBA I am sure they will make it right for us. They are a new club sponsor and we should support them. As Jay has promised to support us...

Ok.....lets just be fair here. Nobody really knows why the 2 boost readings are different. Let's just leave it at that. I finished my tune today and the cars drive real well and it feels good. Bruce just wanted to be safe and don't hurt my car and I appreciate that so the tune is on the conservative side. But he finished the tune and here's the numbers.
