I just need to know if it would blow up like that while I take it 10 miles to a shop.

Well, I tried to bend it back, but yes, it was the one in the back passenger side.

yeah that one was a bitch on my 95, i had to really put some ass in it to get it out. but to tell you the truth there is really only 1 way to get it out whether its cross threaded or not.

well if worse comes to worst you break the plug off where the threads start then you are gonna need to do a little bit of drillin after you pull everything apart....everything, then have to retap the hole....if its still salvagable, if not then you got to drill a bigger hole and either helicoil the hole or sleeve it. pain in the ass. just a quick run thru on the crap i put up with from day to day. not trying to discourage you from doing it the damn thing still needs to come out. also if it were me as a machinist out in town id charge you 80$ and hour and 160an hour for set up and thats just for the machine work, thats not pulling anything apart or anything. do it yourself with some friends that want to help, with the combined skills to get it fixed right the first time...........free.

don't go over to anybodies without a fresh set of 8 copper plugs from autozone to install. Can't be more than 2 bucks for each plug. And stop talking about your -3 timing. Orange is right, that means nothing. I am sure Emilio can help you, and if not, I will, I have also done my fair share of 5.0 work. Detonation is an issue, but usually pretty easy to figure out in a non forced induction vehicle.

You do not need a new tune, you just need some ignition tweaks that probably won't cost much money. You are in good hands with Bobby and Emilio. And I will help you however you need, just let me know. I too have a timing light and a plug gapper and almost anything else you could ever need. No need to throw more money at it, let those experienced guys who can't afford to keep trying parts take a shot. Good luck.

yes bring Autolite 25

You're right. I don't know what heads he has because some require the longer washer style plugs and some don't. I was only thinking of the heat range of the 3924's being correct. Those plugs may not be right for his heads? He needs to post his combo in the garage.
